The Mission Training Centre (MTC) Worldview is located in Launceston, the second-largest city in Tasmania. The college’s spacious grounds include their own farmland, among other features. In this town of 71,000 inhabitants, everything you need is just a few minutes’ drive away.
Tasks
Voluntary helpers work in building and site maintenance. Amongst other things you will repair (for example) broken fences, rooves, help with gardening, etc. … and sometimes also be involved in building projects. In between you might also help in the kitchen and / or household
Project
Worldview is a WEC Bible School, which prepares people for cross-cultural mission trips. Everyone lives together onsite at Worldview, whether they are workers, students, teachers or volunteers. There is also our own farm and kindergarten.
Team
- Long-termers: around 5 intercultural families, teachers or on leadership team.
- Short-termers: usually 3-5 people
